Aakruti Gorde

Aakruti Gorde has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and research fields. Aakruti currently holds the position of Senior Director, Program and Portfolio Management at Sana Biotechnology, Inc. since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Director, Program Management at the same company from October 2020 to March 2023. Aakruti also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis starting from July 2022.

Before joining Sana Biotechnology, Inc., Aakruti worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) for several years. Aakruti'sroles at NIBR included Project Manager and Scientist I in the Neuroscience department from March 2019 to October 2020 and from October 2015 to March 2019, respectively. Aakruti also worked as a Scientific Associate II in the Neuroscience department from April 2013 to September 2015.

Aakruti's early career began at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where they worked as a Research Technologist from December 2009 to March 2013.

Aakruti Gorde completed a B-Tech in Biotechnology from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in 2009. Aakruti then pursued a Master of Science in Biotechnology at The Johns Hopkins University from 2009 to 2011.
