Athena Wong

Athena Wong has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Athena began their career at Genentech in 2007, where they held the position of Senior Scientist & Senior Group Leader until 2019. In 2019, Athena joined Sana Biotechnology, Inc. as the Senior Director of Cell Culture Process Development. Athena was later promoted to the role of Executive Director of Cell Culture Process Development in 2020. Currently, Athena serves as the Vice President of Cell Therapy Process Development at Sana Biotechnology, Inc.

Athena Wong has a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis. Athena also holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology, Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
