Gwen N. Huynh, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. Gwen N. currently serves as the Senior Genomics Lead - Stem Cell Sciences and previously held the positions of Senior CNS Genomics Lead and CNS Genomics Lead at Sana Biotechnology, Inc.

Before joining Sana Biotechnology, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2020 to 2022.

Prior to their time in Copenhagen, Gwen worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at the University of Rochester from 2018 to 2020.

Gwen N. completed their Ph.D. at Duke University from 2012 to 2018, where they conducted research as a PhD Candidate.

Gwen has also held roles as a Visiting Scholar at Washington University in St. Louis from 2016 to 2018, as a Team Leader, Teacher and Laboratory Assistant, Student Researcher, and Interterm High School Science Teaching Intern at Smith College from 2010 to 2012, and as a Summer Intern at Duke University in 2011.

Gwen N. Huynh, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Duke University. Gwen N. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biochemistry from Smith College. In 2011, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Molecular Biologist from NewEngland Biolabs.
