Matt Hiland

Matt Hiland has extensive experience in various roles related to project management, GIS, and strategic accounts. Matt is currently working as the Director of Strategic Accounts for the Central Region at Sanborn. Previously, they worked as a Public Sector Account Executive at Applied Geographics, Inc. from September 2019 to January 2023. Before that, they served as a Senior Consultant at Technology Consortium LLC from March 2017 to August 2019. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Senior Principal Project/Program Management Consultant at NTT DATA Americas from September 2014 to March 2017. Matt also has experience as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Self, NHRG from September 2007 to August 2014 and as a Senior Project Manager at GeoDecisions from October 2001 to August 2007. Matt began their career as an Application Engineer at Intergraph Corporation from May 1994 to September 1997. Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated skills in business analysis, project management, strategic planning, and team management.

Matt Hiland completed their education at Louisiana State University from 1984 to 1990, earning a B.L.A. degree in Landscape Architecture. In addition to their degree, Matt has obtained further certifications including ITIL Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2015 and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in April 2007.
