Marcelo Arango

VP Planeación Estrategica at Sancho BBDO

Marcelo Arango has extensive work experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Marcelo held a position as VP of Strategic Planning at Sancho BBDO, a company where they worked for an unspecified period. In 2017, they became the CEO of Grupo Sancho. More recently, in 2019, they joined Proximity Colombia as the CEO.

Marcelo Arango attended the Berlin School of Creative Leadership from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained an EMBA. Prior to that, they studied at the Universidad Externado de Colombia from 2005 to 2006, earning a degree as an Especialista en Estrategia & Prospectiva. In 2002, Marcelo attended the New York Film Academy. Marcelo completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Saint Michael's College between 1990 and 1993. Lastly, they studied at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano from 1987 to 1989.
