Sanctuary for Families
Chloe Svolakos, LCSW, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical social work and program management. As the Founder and Clinical Director of Alta Psychotherapy since May 2021, Chloe leads therapeutic practices, while concurrently serving as a Non-Residential Clinical Social Worker at Sanctuary for Families since January 2014. Chloe's previous roles include Program Manager of Donor Relations and Fundraising & Development Officer at Columbia University, Graduate Policy Intern at End Child Pornography and Trafficking (ECPAT-USA), and various internships and research assistant positions at New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Queens Community House, and Adelphi University. Educated at Columbia University, where Chloe obtained a Master of Science in Social Work, along with a Law Minor from Columbia Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College, Chloe's academic background complements a strong commitment to social welfare and humanitarian law.
