Claudia Oberweger LCSW-R-BCD has over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, counselor, and consultant, providing treatment for individuals, couples, and groups dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and family issues since 1984. Claudia has served on the Clinical Advisory Council for Sanctuary for Families since 2017 and is a member of the Dean's Council at New York University Silver School of Social Work since 2001. Previously, Claudia held the position of Clinical Director at Freedom Institute from 1986 to 1993, where responsibilities included program design and supervision of counselors. Claudia earned a BA in sociology and psychology and an MSW from NYU Silver School of Social Work, following a high school diploma in Music from LaGuardia High School.
