Cathy Jaynes

Cathy Jaynes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Cathy is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Sand Hill North since 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director, People & Culture at Silent Partner Software and Wisely from 2020 to the present. In their roles at these companies, they focused on building exceptional software products for nonprofits and utilizing AI/machine learning to empower fundraisers.

Prior to their work in the technology sector, Cathy worked as a Recruitment and HR Consultant at CEJ Solutions from 2019 to 2020. Cathy also served as a Senior Recruiting Consultant at Cobblestone Human Capital Inc from 2016 to 2020, where they provided recruiting and HR optimization solutions to a North American client base.

Cathy's work experience also includes a role as the Senior Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Manager at DAVIDsTEA from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Finance Administration Coordinator at DAVIDsTEA from 2009 to 2011.

Before their time at DAVIDsTEA, Cathy held the position of Senior Recruitment Consultant at Cobblestone Human Capital from 2005 to 2010. Cathy also gained valuable experience as the General Manager of Animal Healthcare Products (Equine) from 2001 to 2009, where they led business operations and managed inventory across multiple warehouses.

Cathy began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at PwC from 1999 to 2001 and as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at NB Search and Selection from 1993 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Cathy Jaynes has demonstrated expertise in human resources, talent acquisition, recruitment, and HR optimization. Cathy has a strong background in both the technology and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on building exceptional products and empowering fundraising efforts.

Cathy Jaynes has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Bishop's University. Cathy also holds a DEC in Commerce from CEGEP - John Abbott College. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Social Talent Black Belt in Internet Recruiting from Social Talent in March 2017.
