Eric Ahlstrom

Eric Ahlstrom has extensive experience in technical program management and engineering. Eric is currently the Head of Technical Program Management at SandboxAQ since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Google from 2015 to 2022 in various roles, including Head of Technical Program Management for Google Maps Platform, Team Lead for Aerospace Network Software Development at Loon, Product Development Manager at X, The Moonshot Factory, and Manager of Global Data Center Engineering & Delivery Programs. Before Google, they were the Director of Datacenter Engineering and Global Architectural Department Manager at Microsoft from 2010 to 2015. Eric also has experience at Turner Construction as a Project Engineer and Program Manager, where they were responsible for managing various projects, including the Exelon City Solar Power Plant Project. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Bechtel National, Inc.

Eric Ahlstrom attended Southington High School from 1994 to 1998. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Purdue University from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Eric Ahlstrom obtained a certification in "Introduction to Quantum Computing" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in May 2022.
