Ana Garcia, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in recruitment and hiring. Ana started their career at Walt Disney World in 1999 as a Recruiting Coordinator and Campus Representative, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, Ana was a High Volume Recruiter at T-Mobile. In 2013, they joined Sandia National Laboratories as a Senior Technical Recruiter and later took on roles as a Principal Technical Recruiter and Diversity Recruiting Strategy Lead. Currently, Ana serves as the Critical Skills Recruiting - Hiring Program Lead at Sandia National Laboratories. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in recruitment strategies and diversity initiatives.
Ana Garcia, PHR, SHRM-CP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational and Corporate Communication/Public Relations from The University of Texas at El Paso in the years 1998-2004. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2008, the SHRM-CP certification in 2015, the Certified Internet Recruiter certification from AIRS in 2013, and the Certified DEI Leader certification from the Brandon Hall Group, which they will obtain in 2023.
