Christopher R. Harrell

Christopher R. Harrell is a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, with extensive experience in incident response, threat hunting, and cybersecurity assessments. Notable contributions include the automation of detection systems to enhance security alerts, the development of proof-of-concept for vulnerabilities, and the improvement of sandbox analysis techniques. Harrell has also served as a mentor in the Center for Cyber Defenders program and has been involved in various educational and advisory roles, including membership on the GIAC Advisory Board. Harrell holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Administration from the University of Arizona, along with an Associate degree in Systems Administration from Pima Community College.
