Frank Robinson has extensive work experience in various roles related to facilities management, operations, and engineering. Frank started their career at Intel Corporation in 1993, where they served as a Senior Environmental Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, Facilities Operations and Engineering Manager, and Real Estate Project Manager/Strategic Planner. In these roles, they managed various aspects of facilities operations, including water supply negotiations, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance management. Frank also played a key role in site selection, construction, and startup, ensuring the implementation of environmental health and safety (EHS) programs.
In 2016, Frank joined Golder Associates as the Site Manager for a groundwater treatment plant project, where they were responsible for overseeing plant operations and maintenance. Frank managed a team of 20 personnel and ensured the efficient functioning of the wastewater treatment plant and associated utility infrastructure.
Currently, Frank works at Sandia National Laboratories as the Facilities Operation Lead - Facility Portfolio Manager. In this role, they are responsible for implementing the new Facilities Management System (FMS) at the microelectronics research and production area. Frank oversees both direct and indirect maintenance activities, interfaces with leadership of microelectronics and laboratory operations, and ensures the efficient functioning of facility and manufacturing support systems.
Frank Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
