Joe Daniel has a diverse work history spanning over three decades. Joe began their career at General Motors in 1990 as an Engineer, where they worked for ten years. Joe then moved to Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and held various roles, including Principal Engineer and Manager. At Nissan, they provided leadership and strategic guidance for electrical quality improvements, developed new design processes, and managed new vehicle launches.
In 2014, Joe joined Panasonic Automotive Systems as a Technical Project Lead, where they provided technical leadership for the development of Ford Audio Head Units. Joe organized design changes for quality improvements and feature development.
In 2016, Joe joined Ford Motor Company, where they first served as an Electrical Systems Engineer before becoming a Technical Expert in Electronics and Sensors. Joe contributed expertise in electronics and sensors, working on various projects until 2022.
Currently, Joe Daniel is a Principal Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, starting in November 2022.
Joe Daniel completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1986. Joe further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from the University of Notre Dame in 1990.
