Kimberly Lundberg Bassett is a Materials Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories since November 2021, previously serving as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Exponent from June 2019 to October 2021. As a Chemistry Graduate NSF GRFP Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2014 to May 2019, Kimberly conducted thesis research on electrode/electrolyte interfacial stress in Li-ion cathode materials. Additional experience includes serving as an Editorial Board Member for the DOE EFRC Newsletter, working as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Illinois, and contributing as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Texas Tech University and Penn State University. Kimberly holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Texas Tech University.
