Ransford Damptey

Ransford Damptey, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior R&D S&E Mechanical Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories since December 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Nanoengineering PhD Research Assistant at the Joint School of Nanoscience & Nanoengineering from January 2019 to May 2023, and a Chemical Engineering Graduate Intern position at Honeywell FM&T from June 2019 to August 2022, which required a Department of Energy Top Secret Q-Clearance. Ransford has also held teaching positions, including as a Teaching Assistant in Chemical Engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and as an Advanced Mathematics Teacher at Guilford County Schools. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Nano Engineering and a Master's in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University.
