Amit Kohli has extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Amit is currently the Global Head (VP) of Development Strategy & Transformation at Sandoz since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director and Global Marketing Head for Ophthalmology at Novartis from 2021 to 2022.
From 2016 to 2021, Amit worked at Sandoz, where they held multiple roles including Director of Divisional Strategy and Global Head of New Business. Before their time at Sandoz, they were the Director/Partner at The Baker's Dozen from 2018 to 2020.
Amit also held the position of Associate Vice President of Global Strategy at SUN PHARMA from 2014 to 2016. Amit has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and Managing Director of Foodpanda India, where they successfully launched and scaled the online food ordering platform from 2012 to 2014.
Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Amit worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Engagement Manager, focusing on growth and transformation strategy for various global and Indian clients. Amit'stime at McKinsey lasted from 2005 to 2012.
Amit's early professional experience includes working as a Business Analyst at TCS from 2003 to 2004, and as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Johnson & Johnson from 1999 to 2001.
Amit Kohli's education history includes an MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, completed from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy - BPharm degree from the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) between 1995 and 1999. Amit's schooling took place at the New Era Public School from 1981 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Data Science Orientation from IBM and The Digital marketing revolution from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign| Coursera.
