Dr. Marc Rosenbaum

Principal Scientist at Sandoz

Dr. Marc Rosenbaum is a Principal Scientist at Sandoz since 2023. Previously, they held positions at Klinikum Rechts Der Isar, where they worked as a Senior Scientist from 2015 to 2023. At Klinikum Rechts Der Isar, they were responsible for coordinating the institute's mass cytometry-based analysis platform and serving as the operator in charge of the CyTOF instrument. Dr. Marc also provided scientific guidance to MD doctorate and PhD projects, advised on BSc and MD theses, and published scientific papers and proposals. Additionally, they lectured in various programs at TUM and international PhD programs. Prior to that, Dr. Rosenbaum worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics from 2013 to 2015, focusing on research projects related to immunology. Dr. Marc also gained research experience as a Forschungspraktikant at The University of Western Australia and the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research in 2006.

Dr. Marc Rosenbaum earned their Dr. rer. nat. degree in Immunology from the IMPRS-MCB International Max Planck Research School for Molecular and Cellular Biology from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom degree in Molecular Medicine at The University of Freiburg from 2003 to 2009. Dr. Marc obtained their Abitur from Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium Landau/Pfalz in 2002.
