Marc Danner

Marc Danner has a diverse work experience in finance and management. Marc is currently working as the Global Head of Finance at Sandoz, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they had a long career at Clariant, where they held various roles. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the Head of Group Finance Services, responsible for leading the global finance organization. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Head of Controlling/Divisional CFO for the BU Masterbatches, overseeing financial analysis and reporting for a business unit with a significant turnover. Before that, they served as the Head of Finance/CFO for the Middle East & Africa region, optimizing financing and tax liabilities. In earlier roles at Clariant, they worked as the Head of Strategy & Projects and a Manager for Mergers & Acquisitions, where they led corporate strategic management processes and executed M&A projects. Marc also worked as a BU Controller for the global paper business and in finance and accounting roles at Clariant GmbH. Before joining Clariant, they worked as a PhD student and Research Associate at the Institute of Organizational Design, Leadership, and HR Management.

Marc Danner obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Justus Liebig University Giessen in the years 1994 to 1998. Marc later earned a PhD in Economics from the same university from 1999 to 2002.
