Priya Balachandran

Priya Balachandran is currently an advisor at Sandstone Diagnostics. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Product Management, Marketing, and Inside Sales at Tecan Genomics, Inc. from September 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they were the Associate Director of Global Product Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific from December 2013 to September 2015.

Balachandran began their career as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Francisco from October 2001 to February 2007. Priya then became the Global Product Manager at Life Technologies from March 2007 to December 2013.

Priya Balachandran has a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Priya also has a certification from UC Irvine in Certificate of Integrated Marketing and a certification from the ASSOCIATION FOR PROFESSIONALS IN INFECTION CONTROL AND EPIDEMIOLOGY in Member, APIC. Lastly, they are also a member of the American Society of Microbiology.
