Sandie Starr

Sandie Starr has a diverse work experience. Sandie began their career in 2010 as a Guest Service Agent, Sales & Catering Coordinator, and Staff Accountant at Pyramid Hotel Group - Hilton Stamford Hotel & EMC. In 2013, they moved to Morgans Hotel Group as an Accountant. Sandie then joined LRG Clothing, Lifted Research Group inc. in 2015 as an Accountant, where they handled payroll, accounts payable, and human resources. In 2018, they interned at Questus as a Digital Media Planner and also worked at Movéo as a Media Planning Coordinator. That same year, they joined Flatiron School as a UX UI Designer. In 2020, they worked at Purple Ant Inc. as a User Experience Designer and also at Fountain City, Inc. as a User Experience Designer, creating UX/UI deliverables, prototyping ideas, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Sandstorm Design as a UX Researcher & Designer and Junior User Experience Researcher.

Sandie Starr is currently enrolled at the Flatiron School. Sandie previously earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Norwalk Community College between 2012 and 2014. Sandie is also expected to receive a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2022.
