Umut Atabek

Umut Atabek has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry.

Umut began their career as an Intern in R&D at 3 UK in 2005. Umut then worked as a Presales Engineer at Hutchison Whampoa (Europe) Limited, where they played a crucial role in closing deals with various operators and media companies.

After that, Umut joined Vantrix as a Technical Account Manager and later moved to Procera Networks, working as a Solutions Engineer and Solutions Engineering Manager for Europe. In these roles, they were responsible for presales support, solution design and delivery coordination, and project management. Umut also provided training, presented solutions in customer meetings, and assisted with account specific configuration.

Currently, Umut is working at Sandvine as the Director of Sales Engineering for EMEA. Their responsibilities include leading the EMEA Sales Engineering team and delivering Sandvine platform solutions for network optimization, analytics, revenue generation, assurance, and network security.

Umut Atabek received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University in 2004. Umut later completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UCL in 2005. Prior to these degrees, Umut Atabek attended Üsküdar American Academy.
