Vipin Kumar

Vipin Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vipin is currently working as the Director of Product and Portfolio Management at Sandvine since June 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Sandvine from February 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining Sandvine, Vipin worked at Oracle as a Senior Manager of Product Management and Strategy from July 2018 to February 2021. In this role, they led a team of product managers, generated over $100 million in sales, and collaborated with marketing teams to create effective campaigns for telecommunication clients. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Product Manager at Oracle from March 2016 to July 2018.

Vipin also has experience working at Aricent, where they held various roles. Vipin served as a Senior Product Manager from January 2014 to March 2016 and as an Engineering Project Manager from July 2012 to December 2013. Furthermore, they worked as a Technical Leader from August 2008 to June 2012, where they managed multiple products for clients and played a vital role in the development of the Diameter Signaling Router product. Vipin also received recognition for their focus on customer needs. Additionally, Vipin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aricent from October 2005 to July 2008, focusing on managing and enhancing the Service Creation System product for Tekelec.

Earlier in their career, Vipin worked at Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Software Engineer from February 2004 to October 2005. During their tenure, they managed the maintenance of the DMS MSC product line of Nortel Networks and achieved targets for case resolution. Vipin also served as a Software Engineer at Tecnova India Pvt. Ltd from September 2003 to February 2004 and at Brahmaputra Infotech Pvt Limited from August 2002 to August 2003, where they contributed to developing internet-based solutions for clients and web interfaces.

Vipin Kumar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Delhi University, which they earned between 1998 and 2002. Vipin also completed a Post Graduate Program in General Management from Sunstone in 2013. In terms of executive education, they attended The Wharton School in 2020 for a program on Leading Customer-Centric Growth, and MIT Sloan School of Management in the same year for a course on Leading Through Financial Excellence. Vipin Kumar also obtained a certification in Sports and Society from Duke University in 2013. Additionally, they have earned several professional certifications, including the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, the Develop Your Leadership Potential certification from Dale Carnegie Training India, and the SAFe 4.0 Product Manager / Product Owner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
