Ralph has also been responsible for overseeing the national capital region’s largest corporate philanthropic program, involving corporate and Foundation grant-making, corporate community investments, and employee volunteer activities across several focus areas.

During their time at Freddie Mac, Boyd was a member of corporate management committee during conservatorship (October 2009-March 2012) and also a member of Foundation’s investment committee. Ralph executive sponsored employee affinity and professional development organizations and formulated strategic plans for deploying the Foundation’s assets, concentrating on high-impact programs, and capacity building projects.

Boyd successfully managed a nonprofit corporation affiliated with a government-sponsored entity during a period of unprecedented business, legal, regulatory and reputational challenges. Ralph also managed legal and reputation risks associated with payments to, and business relationships with, various nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations. In addition, Boyd formulated and monitored compliance with regulator approved annual Enterprise

Ralph Boyd received a J.D. from Harvard University, a Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College, and honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from Suffolk University and the New England School of Law/Boston.
