Clarence Mellang

Clarence Mellang is an experienced communications leader with a robust background in people engagement and executive communications. Currently serving as the Head of People Engagement and Head of Executive Communications at Sanford Health since June 2016, Clarence has significantly contributed to organizational communication strategies. Prior to this role, Clarence held various leadership positions at Target from April 1995 to March 2016, including Director of Store Communications - Healthcare, where responsibilities included managing the communication strategy for the CVS Health at Target transaction. In addition, Clarence led the communications and compliance processes for Target Canada and played a key role in store communications during the company’s exit from Canada. Earlier career experience includes positions at Kmart Corporation in store management. Clarence holds a Mini-MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota.
