Kate Syverson

Kate Syverson, MSW, LCSW, CPHQ, has over a decade of experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Director of Quality and Safety at Sanford Health since August 2010. In this role, Kate oversees quality and patient safety programming for the Fargo Region, collaborating with Executive Leadership to drive performance outcomes and improve patient safety. Additional roles at Sanford Health include Lead Improvement Advisor and Integrated Health Therapist, where collaborative efforts with healthcare teams focused on behavioral health. Kate also holds positions as Oncology/Hematology Social Worker at UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and Clinical Instructor at Minot State University, contributing to interdisciplinary education. Previous experience includes serving as State Representative for the Association of Oncology Social Work and ELL School Social Worker at Fargo Public Schools. Kate earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Healthcare Management and Social Work from Concordia College.
