Lisa Groon

Lisa Groon is a seasoned professional in the healthcare sector, currently serving as a Quality Improvement Advisor for Patient Experience at Sanford Health since June 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Director of Health Systems at the Alzheimer's Association® from July 2020 to July 2024, and Associate Director of Health System Partnerships at the American Cancer Society from July 2018 to December 2020. Lisa also held a position as Coordinator of Oncology Quality & Accreditation at Avera Health from December 2018 to September 2019. A retired Sergeant from the Army National Guard, with service spanning from June 2000 to June 2022, Lisa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from South Dakota State University, where education was completed from January 2001 to January 2006.
