Wendy Zawada Straub

Wendy Zawada Straub has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mining industry. Wendy is currently serving as the Director of Shafts and Hoisting for the Sanford Underground Research Facility since February 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Ciner Group as a Mine Manager from May 2014 to February 2021. Before that, they held the position of Mine Engineering Superintendent at OCI Chemical from April 2013 to May 2014. Wendy also worked at the Sanford Underground Laboratory at Homestake as a Project Engineer for Underground Science Operations from June 2009 to March 2013. Wendy'searliest work experience was at Stillwater Mining Corporation, where they served as a Mining Engineer from January 1999 to April 2004.

Wendy Zawada Straub attended Montana Technological University from 1991 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Mining Engineering. Wendy'sfield of study throughout their time at the university was Mining Engineering.
