John Krehbiel

John Krehbiel has a diverse work experience. In 2018, they started working as an Illini Union Multimedia Technician at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they conducted event production and audio/visual setup and operation for various events. John later became the Illini Union Multimedia Lead Technician, providing oversight and training for event production. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Illini Union Multimedia Student Supervisor, overseeing event production and training staff.

In 2021, John worked as a Lead Forestry Technician for the U.S. Forest Service, where they managed a small crew and conducted stand exams and timber cruise designs. John also became a certified timber cruiser. During the same year, they joined Vail Resorts as a Lift Operator, ensuring safe loading and unloading of chairlifts and assisting with snow removal and maintenance.

John's most recent position in 2022 is at Sangamon Solar LLC, where they started as a Journeyman Solar Installer, installing solar PV systems and assisting in troubleshooting errors. Currently, they serve as a Foreman, supervising and training solar installers, coordinating tasks with the project manager, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

John Krehbiel completed their education from 2017 to 2020 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a degree in Natural Resources Environmental Sciences with a focus on Environmental Science. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained additional certifications. In November 2022, John completed the OSHA 10: Construction Industry Outreach Training Course from the OSHA Training School. John also acquired the U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's Identification Card from the U.S. Forest Service in May 2021.
