Swapan Chattopadhyay

Swapan Chattopadhyay has extensive work experience in the power plant industry. SWAPAN started their career in 1993 as a Site Engineer at ISJEC JOHN THOMPSON and then joined ORIENT PAPER MILLS as a Plant Engineer. In 1999, they joined TATA STEEL as a Senior Manager in the Power Plant department. SWAPAN then moved to Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. in 2010 as a D.G.M (Power Plant) and later joined JINDAL STEEL & POWER LIMITED as Head (GM) of the Thermal Power Plant. In 2018, they joined SANGHI INDUSTRIES LTD as Head (GM) of the Thermal Power Plant, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they serve as the Head and Vice President of the Power Plant at SKS Ispat & Power Ltd.

Swapan Chattopadhyay completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Amaravati University from 1990 to 1993. SWAPAN'sfield of study was Mechanical Engineering. SWAPAN also pursued a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Energy Management, but the specific university and duration of this degree are unknown. Additionally, Chattopadhyay obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Boiler Operation Engineering (B.O.E) from C.I.B. Government of West Bengal.
