Christian Roelofse

Christian Roelofse is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Investment Director at Sango Capital, leading the Portfolio Solutions Group focused on Private Equity funds in Africa since March 2024. With a career spanning over two decades, Christian has held various significant roles, including Manager of Private Equity (ad interim) at FMO and Head of Alternatives at STANLIB Multi-Manager. Additionally, Christian has served as the Head of Group Balance Sheet Optimisation and Head of Portfolio Construction and Balance Sheet Management at Liberty Group South Africa. As a trustee and investment committee chair of a $2.5 billion pension fund, Christian brings extensive expertise in investment strategy and fund management, backed by a CFA charterholder credential and multiple relevant academic degrees.
