David Lee

David Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. David is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Sangoma since January 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Software Engineering Manager from March 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Sangoma, David worked at Digium from 2010 to 2018, where they held multiple roles such as Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master/Tech Lead. David also led the design and development of a web-based management system during their time at Digium. Prior to Digium, they worked at Avocent as a Software Architect from November 2007 to August 2010, where they led the Java architecture for the Avocent MergePoint Infrastructure Explorer product. Before Avocent, David was a Senior Software Engineer at Crossroads Systems from November 2004 to November 2007, where they worked on various projects related to network-based database monitoring and security. David started their career as a Software Engineer at Teracruz from December 2002 to October 2004, working on network-based database monitoring and acceleration projects. David's early career also includes a role as a Co-op Student at Motorola from January 1994 to September 1997. Throughout their career, David has showcased their expertise in areas such as Java, C++, software architecture, and network security.

David Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. David then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 1997 to 1998.
