Duncan Patterson

Duncan Patterson has extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Duncan worked as a Software Engineer at GPT from 1991 to 1995, where they were responsible for software development. From 1995 to 1999, they worked as a Software Engineer at Newbridge Networks, leading a team in the development of TDM, Frame Relay, and ATM access products. Duncan then joined Nuera Communications as a Software Development Manager from 2000 to 2007. At Audiocodes, they served as a Software Development Manager from 2000 to 2012, focusing on the development of broadband VOIP access products and leading projects related to encryption, security, and quality of service. Their most recent role was at Sangoma, where they started as a Product Development Manager from 2012 to 2017. Duncan then became the Director of Engineering, overseeing the design and development of IP telephony hardware products.

Duncan Patterson received a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronics, Computers and Communications Engineering from the University of Bradford. Duncan also attained an MEng degree in the same field from the same institution. Both degrees were obtained between 1990 and 1994.
