María José Linares has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. María José began their career in 2007 at MCCI Medical Centers, where they worked as a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist until 2013. In this role, they provided clinical and business office assistance, gathered patient information, performed vital signs, administered vaccines, and collected and processed blood samples.

In 2016, María joined Sanitas as a Registered Nurse and worked there until 2018. During this time, they gained experience in various nursing duties.

Since 2018, María has been working at Sanitas Medical Center. María José started as a Chronic Care Programs Nurse Lead and later transitioned to the role of Associate Director of Care Programs USA.

María José Linares RN, MSN began their education in 2006 at Technical Career Institute, where they earned a Diploma in Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist. María José then attended Brown Mackie College-Miami from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. To further their education, they enrolled in West Coast University from 2016 to 2018, earning a Master's degree in Nurse Advance Generalist. In addition to their formal education, María José has obtained several certifications, including ACLS and CPR in September 2018, as well as completing a NIH Web-based training course in August 2018. Furthermore, they became a Registered Nurse in April 2017 and gained certification as a Certified Health Coach Trainer in 2017.
