Julie Ziff Sint has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Julie Ziff started their career as an intern for the National Audubon Society, followed by a role as a Special Projects Assistant at the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor. Julie Ziff then worked at the Environmental Defense Fund, where they held positions such as Development Assistant, Development Associate, and Development Manager/Catalyst Circle Manager.
Afterwards, Julie worked as a freelance nonprofit consultant, managing fundraising and communications strategies. Julie Ziff then joined Sanky Communications, Inc. as an Account Executive and later as a Senior Account Executive, where they specialized in online media and multi-channel campaigns.
In 2009, Julie started working as a Freelance Yoga Teacher, sharing their expertise in vinyasa and hatha yoga, hoopdance, and Thai massage. Julie Ziff also co-founded the fusion of hoopdance and yoga called Hoop Vinyasa.
Julie then joined Transportation Alternatives as the Director of Individual Giving and later as the Associate Development Director, responsible for individual giving fundraising and managing a 7-person team.
In 2013, they took a sabbatical and traveled with their husband to various countries, chronicling their adventures on a travel blog.
In 2016, Julie returned to Sanky Communications, Inc. as the Director of Account Services and eventually became the Vice President of Account and Strategic Services. In this role, they provided senior-level strategy across non-profit clients and channels, managed the account services department, and played a leadership role in business development.
Overall, Julie has extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning, and team management across the non-profit and communications sectors.
Julie Ziff Sint completed their primary education at Muhlenberg College from 1998 to 2002, earning both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Julie Ziff'smajor field of study was English Literature, with a focus on Environmental Science. In 2001, they had the opportunity to study abroad in Ecuador at the School for International Training, specializing in Comparative Ecology for a semester. Later, from 2002 to 2003, they pursued further education at Lehigh University and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Political Science, with a concentration in Public Policy and Advocacy Studies. In 2007, Julie attended the Kinship Conservation Fellowship, where they gained valuable experience in Environmental Markets and Leadership Training as a Fellow.
