Saravanan PK has over 30 years of work experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounts management. Saravanan started their career as an Article Assistant at M/s. Fraser & Ross, Chartered Accountant, where they conducted audits and participated in finalizing accounts. Saravanan then worked as a Paid Assistant at M/s. Palaniappan & Viswanathan - Chartered Accountant, before joining M/s. Honeywell Electrical Devices and Systems India Ltd as a Deputy Manager in accounts. Saravanan's next role was at ESAB INDIA LIMITED, where they served as a Senior Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis for 15 years. Currently, they are working as an Assistant Vice President of Business Accounts at Sanmar Group, where they are responsible for various tasks such as internal audit support, adherence to ethical practices, pricing committee meetings, and financial reviews.

Saravanan PK pursued their education at the University of Madras from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting. Saravanan further continued their education at The Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 1993 to 1996, earning the prestigious CMA (ICWA) Cost Accountant qualification. Saravanan excelled in their final examination, receiving a certificate of merit. During their time at the institute, they studied subjects such as Costing, Accounts, Budgeting, Auditing, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
