VP, Global Education Practice, Acumen at Sannam S4

Delia Heneghan is the Vice President of Global Education Practice at Sannam S4. Delia brings over 25 years of senior hands-on experience of higher education as an academic and specialist in internationalization strategy and operations.

This experience includes 15 years as a Dean and Director of International at a leading UK university with responsibility for the development and delivery of the internationalization strategy of the university including: student recruitment, TNE, and strategic partnership development, setting up offices and establishing presence in key markets including India, Pakistan, and China. Delia’s experience includes strategic development and operational delivery in the South Asia, Southeast Asia, China, the Far East, Central Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. As well as a focus on internalisation of curriculum, student experience and internationalisation as a driver for institutional change. Delia’s portfolio expanded to External Relations and Advancement with responsibility for UK student recruitment, Alumni, Fundraising and Development, Marketing and PR, and Residential Life. Her team was nominated for numerous sector awards.

Following this, Delia added to her international experience by spending time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as Dean and founding Principal of a women’s college of excellence part of the KSA government program to expand educational opportunities for young Saudi women.

On her return to the UK Delia took on the role of Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at an American University in London in 2015. Overseeing all aspects of Global Affairs.

On joining Sannan S4 four years ago she moved to live in New Delhi India while focusing on India initially. She continues to work globally including in China, SEA, Australia, and NZ.
