Storm Johnson

Storm Johnson has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2017, they worked as a Student Ambassador at the University of Surrey, where they promoted higher education to students and conducted presentations on university life. In 2018, they had two roles: as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, where they handled biological samples and communicated patient results, and as a University Research Scientist at Hygiena, where they led a project on bacterial detection using bioluminescence technologies. In 2020, they joined Future Science Group as a Production Editor, overseeing article production and editing. They later became a Commissioning Editor, where they conceptualized and published a research article reporting checklist. In 2022, Storm worked as a Sales Development Representative at BrightEdge before transitioning to a Specialist role. Their most recent position is at Sano Genetics, where they are a Business Development Representative, focused on accelerating the transition to personalized medicine.

Storm Johnson completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science from the University of Surrey between the years 2016 and 2020. Prior to that, Storm attended Belfairs Academy from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained A Levels. They also received additional certifications in various aspects of Bacterial Genomics from the Wellcome Genome Campus Advanced Courses and Scientific Conferences in November 2020.
