Jacques Volckmann

Jacques Volckmann is an accomplished leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of R&D France at Sanofi since April 2018. In addition to this role, Jacques Volckmann has been the CEO of Sanofi Vaccine Technologies SAS since June 2014 and has held the position of Associate Vice President for Global R&D Sites and Scientific Support at Sanofi Pasteur since January 2010. Responsibilities include the management of R&D sites, scientific support functions, and interactions within the R&D ecosystem. Jacques Volckmann also oversees the development of new vaccines in Europe, achieving significant milestones such as the registration of IMOJEV in Australia and Thailand in 2012. Since September 2010, Jacques Volckmann has served as the President of the Board of Directors at ISPB, Faculty of Pharmacy of Lyon. Educational qualifications include a PharmD, DESS in Industrial Pharmacy, and specialized studies in Fundamental Virology, Microbiology, and Industrial Microbiology from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
