Kevin Leary

Kevin Leary, MD, FACP, is an accomplished medical professional specializing in pharmacovigilance and clinical safety. Current responsibilities include serving as Vice President and Head of Pharmacovigilance for Specialty Care at Sanofi since August 2023. Previously, Kevin held significant roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, including Therapeutic Area Safety Head for Hematology/Oncology and Cellular Therapy, and Global Safety Lead for Hematology/Oncology from June 2018 to August 2023. Kevin's experience also encompasses a director role at Merck focusing on Clinical Safety and Risk Management, academic positions as an Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and clinical roles at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Education includes an MD from the Uniformed Services University, a B.S. from Loyola University Maryland, and a Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
