Camila Leal

Camila Leal is a Senior Scientist at Sanofi since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in research and development from previous roles at the New Mexico Consortium and Specifica, a Q² Solutions Company, where Camila held the position of Associate Research Scientist and Senior Scientist, respectively, from September 2019 until June 2023. Prior to that, Camila worked as an R&D Analyst at Blau Farmacêutica and conducted research at Universidade de São Paulo for several years, where significant contributions were made, including advancements in treatments for Type 1 Diabetes and the development of genetically modified stem cell lines. Camila's research background also includes work as a Visiting Researcher at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where molecular events related to pancreatic cell regeneration were studied. Camila has a PhD in Biochemistry from Universidade de São Paulo and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, with a strong record of publication in international journals throughout the career.
