Hongfeng Deng

Hongfeng Deng currently serves as Vice President of Chemistry at Sanofi, leading the mRNA Center of Excellence. Previously, Hongfeng held senior roles at Corbus Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline, where significant contributions included establishing drug discovery platforms and managing drug optimization projects. With a strong focus on medicinal chemistry, Hongfeng has been involved in the discovery and development of multiple clinical candidates, including an S1P1 agonist for autoimmune diseases and various FXIa inhibitors. Educational background includes a PhD in Medicinal and Natural Products Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and two degrees in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking Union Medical College and Peking University, respectively.
