Kevin Leary

Kevin Leary, MD, FACP, serves as the Vice President and Head of Pharmacovigilance for Specialty Care at Sanofi since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kevin held significant positions at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, including Therapeutic Area Safety Head for Hematology/Oncology and Cellular Therapy, as well as Global Safety Lead for Hematology/Oncology from June 2018 to August 2023. Kevin's earlier experience includes serving as Director/Senior Director of Clinical Safety and Risk Management at Merck Research Labs from April 2015 to June 2018. An academic background features tenure as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and leadership roles in various capacities at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Kevin's educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Uniformed Services University and a Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
