Diya Gao-de Vries

Diya Gao-de Vries, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Sanquin since October 2023. Previously, Diya held key positions at Amoy Diagnostics and GenDx, focusing on international business development and project management for NGS-based companion diagnostics and assays for cancer and immune-related diseases. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from Erasmus University Rotterdam and experience in precision medicine research at Erasmus MC, Diya has successfully led multiple cross-functional projects, contributed to product lifecycle management, and provided technical support globally. Past research endeavors include significant contributions to understanding IDH1 and EGFR mutations in gliomas, as well as the development of innovative diagnostic solutions. Diya's expertise spans project management, regulatory affairs, and collaboration with external organizations across various sectors.
