MacHiel Geleijnse

Machiel Geleijnse is an experienced professional currently serving as an Analytical Project Manager in the Pharma & Biotech Unit at Sanquin since February 2021, overseeing diverse projects related to diagnostic services and GxP bioanalytical service testing for clinical trials. Prior to this role, Machiel worked as a Medical Information Specialist for MSD Nederland, providing medical services across the Netherlands and other European countries. Machiel gained foundational experience through various internships, including a Cell Biology Research Intern position at The Francis Crick Institute and research roles at Universiteit Utrecht, where extensive studies in cancer, stem cells, and developmental biology were conducted. Machiel holds a Master of Science degree in Cancer, Stem Cells and Developmental Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, both from Utrecht University.
