Ronald van Slooten

Ronald van Slooten has extensive experience in human resources leadership roles. Ronald began their career as a management trainee at Unilever in 1991 and later held positions as HR manager for Europe and management development and recruitment manager. Ronald then worked at Pricewaterhousecoopers Consulting as the director of internal organization before joining General Electric Water Technologies as the HR leader for EMEA. Ronald was responsible for HR across the region and the integration of a newly acquired business. Van Slooten then joined Amgen as the HR director, leading the HR function for various departments and executive staffing across Europe. Ronald went on to work at RELX Group, first as the global HR director and later as the global human resources director. In these roles, they oversaw the HR function for multiple divisions and worked with executives on organizational design and talent transformation. Most recently, van Slooten served as the HR director at Sanquin.

Ronald van Slooten has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry from Leiden University, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. In 2009, they attended Harvard Business School to complete a program in Executive Leadership.
