Sander Meijer

Sander Meijer has extensive experience in the field of research and academia, currently serving as the Director of Sanquin Research since 2001. Sander's previous roles at Sanquin include Operations Director, Manager of the Department of Molecular Hematology, Manager of the Department of Research Facilities, Manager of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Hemostasis, Head of the Proteomics Laboratory, Senior Research Investigator, and Postdoctoral Researcher. In addition, Sander Meijer held a position as a Professor at the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences from December 2016 to December 2021. Sander Meijer earned both a PhD and an MSc in Molecular Biophysics from Wageningen University & Research.
