James Leyte-Vidal

James Leyte-Vidal serves as a Principal Instructor and Certified Instructor at the SANS Institute since February 2011, contributing extensive expertise in information security training. Prior to this role, James held several positions at The Walt Disney Company, including Manager of Global Information Security from January 2017 to January 2022, and Sr. Manager of Information Security and Compliance at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts from October 2013 to January 2017, with responsibilities focused on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. James's experience at Walt Disney extended back to 1994, encompassing roles as a Technical Specialist and Information Security Architect. Academically, James holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
