Jeroen Beckers

Jeroen Beckers is a seasoned Mobile Security Expert at NVISO BE since January 2015, specializing in Mobile Application Security Assessments, threat modeling, and reverse-engineering mobile malware, while also conducting web application assessments and security trainings. As a SANS Instructor and lead author of the SEC575 Mobile Device Security and Ethical Hacking course since July 2020, Jeroen contributes to the education of cybersecurity professionals. Additionally, Jeroen co-authored the OWASP Mobile Security Testing Guide and Mobile Application Security Verification Standard, while serving as Technical Director for the Cyber Security Challenge Belgium since March 2015, promoting cybersecurity awareness among students. Jeroen has a robust background in software development as a freelance Adobe Flash Developer and holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from KU Leuven.
