Joe Roundy

Joe Roundy is a seasoned cybersecurity and IT security professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a SANS Foundations Subject Matter Expert and Academic Coach at the SANS Institute, Joe previously held significant positions including Cybersecurity Program Manager and Adjunct Faculty at Montgomery College, where responsibilities included managing cybersecurity initiatives and teaching network technologies. Joe also has a strong background in security consulting with firms such as Xerox, Chesapeake NetCraftsmen, and GXS, focusing on security architecture and policy development. Education includes a Master’s in Computer Systems Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, alongside an A.A.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York. Additionally, Joe serves as a certified level 3 official for US Lacrosse.
