Brian Briggs has extensive experience in video production and multimedia, currently serving as a Video Technician at the Santa Ana Police Department since 2020. Prior to this role, Brian worked as a Multimedia Specialist for the Riverside County Sheriff's Department from March 2017 to March 2020. Brian's earlier career includes positions as a Video Production Contractor for the City of Anaheim from August 2006 to September 2016 and as a Video Production Specialist Contractor for the City of Bellflower from March 2007 to September 2015. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in TV-Film from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Cerritos College.

The Santa Ana Police Department is a full service police department with a full operational jail staffed by civilian Correction Officers. Santa Ana Police Department is comprised of more than 300 officers and over 200 civilian employees. The department currently has 50 fully funded sworn officer vacancies and numerous civilian vacancies. The opportunity to join a police department where you will rapidly gain seniority has never been greater. We anticipate hiring at least 125 sworn officers over the next 3 years to fill current vacancies and anticipated retirements. The Santa Ana Police Department handles approximately 11,000 calls for service each month and provides full service operations in various divisions such as: Patrol, Traffic, General Investigations, Special Investigations, Training and others.
